Westlea Playground

Locals round here rate Westlea pretty highly, and honestly it’s easy to see why — the separate areas mean younger kids aren’t getting flattened by older ones, which makes a real difference. There’s a basketball court if you’ve got older kids who’ll lose interest in the swings after about five minutes, plus a decent soccer field to burn off some energy. The enclosed play area gives parents a bit of breathing room without having to chase anyone into the car park. It’s kept clean too, which in a public park isn’t something you can always take for granted — someone’s clearly putting the effort in.
