If you’re local, you’ll already know this place comes alive whenever there’s a carnival or event on — the food stalls and live bands make it genuinely worth the trip. Day-to-day it’s a solid spot for a walk or letting the dog burn some energy, with a proper path circuit and plenty of open grass to roam. The football pitch gets decent use too. It’s one of those grounds that punches above its weight for a relatively quiet part of Tamworth, and whoever organises the events here clearly knows what they’re doing.
