Tamworth Castle Playground

Right next to Tamworth Castle, this recently refurbished playground is one of the better spots in town for a proper family outing. The equipment is fresh and decent — slides, swings, and a climbing structure that keeps kids between 2 and 12 busy long enough for parents to actually sit down on one of the benches. Sightlines are good throughout, so you’re not constantly losing track of anyone. There’s parking, toilets, and picnic tables, plus a cafe nearby if you need a brew and a sit-down. It gets busy on weekends, which tells you everything — locals know it’s worth the trip.
