Decent little local playground this one — nothing flashy, but it does the job well enough for the kids around Carlton Miniott. There are slides to keep younger ones entertained, and the open grass field alongside gives them proper room to tear about rather than being hemmed in. It’s the kind of place where you can actually sit back and let them run without watching them disappear into a car park. Good for burning off energy after school or on a weekend morning when you just need somewhere straightforward to head.
