Cary Play Park

Locals know Cary Play Park as one of the better spots in Torquay for a proper family afternoon out — there’s enough room here that kids can actually spread out. The climbing structure, slides, and swings keep younger ones busy while the open grass field means older kids (or dads who’ve had too much coffee) can kick a ball around without bothering anyone. Pack a picnic because the tables get used, especially on a decent day. Fair warning though — some of the equipment is showing its age and could do with a bit of attention from the council.
