Cockington Sensory Playground

Meant to be a sensory space for younger kids and those with limited mobility, but honestly it’s been let down by poor upkeep for a while now. The water feature and seesaw are the main draws, though don’t be surprised if one of them is out of order when you turn up — it’s happened enough times that locals have started to expect it. It’s a shame because the idea behind it is genuinely good and the setting in Cockington has real charm. Worth combining with a visit to the tea shop or the artisan stores nearby, just in case the playground itself disappoints on the day.
