Right next to the beach in Wells, this one’s a proper little find for families coming off the coastal path or heading into town. The pirate ship and tractor are always a hit with younger kids, and there’s enough going on — swings, seesaw, climbing frames, merry-go-round — that you’re not rushing anyone away anytime soon. Older ones can head straight to the football pitch or basketball court while the little ones do their thing. Toilets are on site, which matters more than people admit, and you’re a short walk from the high street and the miniature railway. Honestly one of the better-equipped spots on this stretch of coast.
