Wells Town Playing Field

The play train is a proper hit with the little ones — they’ll claim it for ages while you grab a bench and actually sit down for five minutes. There’s a decent chunk of open grass too, which is exactly what you need when kids just need to run around and burn off energy. It’s well kept, which isn’t something you can always say about smaller town playing fields. Toilets on site make it a practical stop, especially if you’re spending a morning in Wells before heading down to the quay.
