The Pirate Park

Locals know this one’s worth the trip — it got a proper revamp a while back and honestly they did a great job with the pirate ship theming without making it feel tacky. The slides and swings are solid for the toddler-to-preschool crowd, and the sandbox keeps little ones busy longer than you’d expect. There’s parking on-site, clean restrooms, and enough benches that you can actually sit down while the kids do their thing. The open grass field out back is handy when they need to burn off whatever energy they’ve got left. A café nearby makes it a proper half-day outing, and the community events they run throughout the year mean there’s usually something extra going on if you time it right.
