If you’ve got kids under 12 and the Cumbrian weather’s doing its usual thing, Planet Play is genuinely one of the better options in Workington. It’s a proper indoor soft play setup — themed areas, clean facilities, and the kind of place where you can actually sit down without standing on a soggy mat. There’s a separate section for the little ones, which parents of toddlers will appreciate more than they can say. Parking’s sorted, loos are on site, and you’re not hunting for a bench to dump your coat. Book ahead though — it fills up fast, especially on rainy weekends, which around here is most of them.
