Hazelbank playground

Right on the shores of Belfast Lough, Hazelbank has the kind of setting that should make it a go-to spot — but the playground itself has seen better days. Equipment’s been needing attention for a while now, which is a shame given how much potential the place has. Worth knowing before you make the trip: it’s locked on Sundays, which has caught more than a few families off guard. If you’re local and flexible with your timing, it’s fine for a quick run-around earlier in the week, but probably not worth a special journey until things get sorted.
