Jordanstown Loughshore Children’s Playground

Right on the shores of Belfast Lough, this playground gets a lot of things right that others don’t. The equipment covers all ages, and the whole site is kept in genuinely good shape — not that “technically open but falling apart” standard you see elsewhere. You’ve got parking sorted, toilets on site, and picnic tables if you want to make a proper afternoon of it. The bike track and walking path along the lough make it worth the trip even if the kids wear out early, and the views across the water aren’t bad at all. A solid option for families in the Newtownabbey area, especially on a dry day.
