Pittenweem, Playground

Small but perfectly placed for families passing through this part of the East Neuk, the James Street playground is one of those spots locals rely on without making a big deal of it. Pittenweem itself is worth the visit — the harbour, the galleries, the smell of the sea — and having somewhere for kids to burn off energy while you soak it all in is genuinely useful.
