Playground Queens Gardens

Right next to Queens Gardens, this one’s pretty low-key — don’t come expecting a climbing frame extravaganza. What you do get is a decent stretch of open grass where kids can just leg it around without bumping into anything, which honestly is sometimes exactly what you need. Dog walkers use it constantly, so if your little ones are into saying hello to every passing spaniel, they’ll be kept busy. It’s the kind of place locals pop to on a whim rather than making a special trip for, but that’s fine — Anstruther’s got the harbour and the chippy to round out the visit.
