Goldenacre Playing Fields

If you’re heading up to the north side of Edinburgh, Goldenacre is one of those spots that locals have been relying on for years — proper rugby and cricket territory with well-kept grass that actually looks like someone cares about it. The parking situation is decent, which honestly makes a difference when you’re hauling kit or bringing the whole family along. There’s hot food, snacks, and drinks on site too, so you’re not stuck surviving on whatever’s in your pockets. The walking path around the grounds is good for a wander if you’re not there to watch a match, and the open field gives kids and adults alike plenty of room to spread out.
