The Yard Edinburgh

If you haven’t been to The Yard yet, it’s one of those places that genuinely gets inclusive play right. Designed with additional support needs in mind, the setup covers a lot of ground — swings, a climbing structure, sandbox, water feature, and musical equipment that kids can actually interact with rather than just look at. The bike track and open grass field mean there’s real space to move, and the whole thing feels thought-through rather than bolted together as an afterthought. Restrooms on site, sensible layout, staff who clearly know what they’re doing. Honestly one of the better options in Edinburgh if you’re looking for somewhere that works for all ages and abilities without compromise.
