Tumbles at Portobello Gymnastics and Softplay Centre

If you’ve got a toddler or a preschooler, this place is genuinely one of the better soft play options on the east side of Edinburgh. The space is kept noticeably clean, which isn’t something you can say about every soft play around, and the staff actually seem like they want to be there. It’s right by Portobello Beach, so you can easily pair it with a walk along the prom if the weather plays ball. Fair warning though — weekends get busy fast, so go early or brace yourself. Prices are on the higher side for what it is, but for the two-to-six crowd it does the job well.
