Memorial Park, Playground

If you’re local to Laurencekirk, you already know Memorial Park is one of those places that punches above its weight for a town this size. The playground covers the basics well — slides, swings, a climbing structure — and there’s enough here to keep kids of pretty much any age occupied. What makes it worth the trip though is that you’ve also got a skatepark and a football pitch right there, so older kids and teens aren’t just standing around watching the little ones. It’s the kind of spot where you can drop in for an hour and end up staying much longer.
