Thistle Park Playground

Thistle Park is one of those spots that quietly does everything right without making a fuss about it. The climbing structure keeps the older kids busy while the swings sort out the toddlers — and because the layout is so open, you’re not constantly craning your neck to check where everyone’s got to. Benches are actually positioned where they’re useful, which sounds basic but isn’t always the case. Beyond the play area there’s a basketball court, a bike track, and enough open grass to let the kids properly run themselves out. Parking’s easy too, which matters more than people admit when you’ve got a pram and a four-year-old in tow.
