Thornhill is a solid little village park that does the job well for toddler age kids — slides, swings, a climbing structure, and a zipline that’ll keep them busy longer than you’d expect for a spot this size. It’s got that easy, unhurried feel that makes it a good shout for a proper picnic stop, with tables and benches already in place. Parking is straightforward enough, which is always a relief when you’ve got little ones in tow. Worth keeping an eye on — there are upgrades in the works, so it’s only going to get better from here.
