Locals will tell you Bailey Park is just a decent park, but honestly it punches above its weight for families with younger kids. The climbing structure keeps the 6-7 crowd busy, and there’s a trampoline that tends to be the main event — budget extra time because you won’t get them off it easily. Everything sits within an enclosed area, so parents can actually breathe and use one of the benches or grab a shaded spot under the trees without constantly chasing anyone down. The views out toward the hills are genuinely lovely, the toilets are right there when you need them, and the soccer field and open grass give older siblings or restless adults something to do. Parking is easy enough, which in Abergavenny is never something to take for granted.
