Etolin Heights Playground

If you’re looking for a solid spot to burn off some energy with the kids, this Wrangell playground delivers. The climbing structure, slides, and swings keep the 2-to-12 crowd busy long enough for parents to actually sit down on one of the benches and breathe. Shade trees make the warmer months bearable, and the open grass field is great when someone inevitably wants to kick a ball around. The walking path is a nice bonus if you want to stretch your legs while the little ones play — and being right on the edge of the forest gives the whole place that distinctly Southeast Alaska feel.
