Bring a cooler and a blanket because this spot is genuinely set up for a proper afternoon out. The picnic tables make it easy to actually sit down and eat instead of balancing food on your lap, which parents around here appreciate more than you’d think. Kids from toddler age up through early school years have enough to keep them busy while the adults decompress. It’s the kind of low-key Surprise park that locals keep coming back to on weekends without making a big deal about it.
