Ernie Sheldon Youth Sports Park

If you’ve got kids who can’t sit still, this park pretty much checks every box. The sand playground keeps the younger ones busy — slides, swings, and a sandbox they’ll want to stay in way too long — while older kids gravitate toward the basketball court and soccer field. Shade trees and covered seating mean you’re not roasting on a bench in the middle of a Folsom summer. Restrooms are clean, parking is easy, and the grass fields are well-kept enough that you’ll actually want to let your kid roll around on them. Good spot for ages 3 to 12, and honestly one of the more low-stress parks in the area.
