If you’re west side and need a solid spot for the kids, Cheviot Hills delivers. The play area skews toward the 5-12 crowd and stays genuinely clean, which honestly isn’t something you can say about every LA park. Grab a picnic table, fire up the BBQ, and let the older ones take over the basketball court while the younger kids run around. It’s a proper full-afternoon kind of place.
