Brookside Park Playground

The pirate-themed climbing structure here is genuinely well done — kids get sucked into it immediately and you don’t hear “I’m bored” for a good hour. It’s geared toward toddlers up to about 8 years old, so that’s a solid window for families with multiple kids at different stages. Everything feels clean and well-maintained, which isn’t something you can say about every Pasadena playground. Restrooms and parking are both right there, so you’re not doing the desperate scramble when someone suddenly needs a bathroom.
