Hamilton Park

Tucked into one of Pasadena’s quieter residential pockets, this park punches above its weight for a neighborhood spot. The play structure keeps kids busy from toddler age up through about 12 — slides, swings, and a climbing structure that actually gets used. Shade trees and covered seating make it genuinely usable in the summer heat, which if you’ve spent any time in the San Gabriel Valley, you know matters a lot. There’s a basketball court and open grass field for when the older kids need more room to run, and the BBQ and picnic setup makes it easy to stay a while. Restrooms, parking, and night lighting mean it works for an after-school session just as well as a weekend afternoon.
