Most people drive right past this little spot without realizing what they’re missing. Tucked along Daytona Beach Shores, it’s got free parking that actually puts you steps from the sand — which, if you’ve ever circled the main strips on a busy weekend, you know is worth its weight in gold. There’s a water feature, picnic tables, a BBQ area, and the restrooms are genuinely kept up, not an afterthought. The walking path and open grass field make it easy to stretch out before or after hitting the beach. Locals know it, tourists mostly don’t, and honestly that’s kind of the point.
