Wickham Park

One of those parks where you can show up with zero plans and still fill a whole afternoon. The bike track and walking paths wind through some genuinely nice wooded sections, and the lake nearby makes the whole place feel less suburban than it actually is. Pack a cooler — there’s plenty of BBQ setups, shaded picnic tables, and big open grass areas if the kids need to just run around for a while. Restrooms are clean, which honestly makes or breaks a park visit when you’re bringing little ones. Wickham also pulls in local events pretty regularly, so it’s worth checking the schedule before you go.
