If you want to actually get away from the noise without leaving Sarasota, this is one of the better spots to do it. The disc golf course is legit — 18 holes winding through heavy tree cover, so even if you’re not a serious player, it’s a solid way to spend a couple hours. Shade trees keep most of the walking path comfortable even in summer, which if you live here, you know matters a lot. Pack a lunch because the picnic tables and covered gathering area make it worth sticking around, and the restrooms are clean enough that you’re not rushing out. It’s got that quiet neighborhood feel where you can actually hear birds instead of traffic.
