Cook Park Playground

If you live on the southside and somehow haven’t made it to Cook Park yet, fix that. The equipment is newer and actually well-thought-out — different sections for the little ones versus the older kids, so nobody’s getting trampled or bored. There’s a water feature that keeps things interesting on hot Atlanta afternoons, and the whole place stays noticeably clean, which isn’t something you can say about every park in the city. Walking paths, restrooms that are actually usable — it’s got the basics covered and then some.
