Locals really do sleep on Cook Park — it’s one of those spots that somehow doesn’t get enough buzz despite being genuinely well done. The equipment is newer and thoughtfully laid out, with separate zones so toddlers aren’t getting steamrolled by bigger kids, which honestly makes a huge difference. There’s a water feature the little ones go absolutely feral for on hot Atlanta days, and the walking path means you can actually get some steps in while they burn off energy. Restrooms are clean and stocked, which — if you’ve got a two-year-old — you know is not something to take for granted.
