Harbins Park

If you’re anywhere near Dacula and haven’t spent a full Saturday at Harbins Park, you’re missing out. The trails alone are worth the trip — they wind back through real woods, not just a token strip of trees, so it actually feels like you’ve escaped the suburbs for a few hours. Kids aged 2 to 12 get a solid playground with a big slide and climbing structure, and there’s plenty of shaded seating nearby so you’re not roasting while you watch them. Pack a cooler because the picnic tables and BBQ grills make it genuinely easy to make a day of it. Restrooms are consistently clean, parking is never a nightmare, and the bike track gives older kids something to do once they’ve worn out the playground.
