Little Mulberry, Fence Rd entrance

The Fence Road entrance is honestly the best way to come into Little Mulberry — less crowded than other access points and you’re right near the pond almost immediately. The playground is split up well, so toddlers aren’t getting steamrolled by bigger kids on the climbing structure, and there’s enough shade that you’re not melting in August. Pack a lunch because the picnic tables actually get good tree cover, and the walking path around the water is one of those routes you don’t mind doing twice. Good spot for kids anywhere from 2 to 12, and the bike track gives older ones something to do when they’re done with the slides.
