Henderson Park

Tucker locals know Henderson Park more as a nature spot than a playground destination these days — the play equipment is gone, but honestly the park has plenty going for it without it. The walking path winds through some genuinely pretty scenery with the pond nearby and forest edges close enough that you’ll spot wildlife if you’re paying attention. Bring the dog, pack a lunch, and claim one of the shaded picnic tables before the soccer crowd rolls in on weekends. There’s a water feature on site, good parking, and clean restrooms, so it holds up well for a longer visit. Just don’t come expecting a traditional playground setup.
