Hawks Landing Park Shelter

If you live on the east side of Idaho Falls, you already know this spot. The shelter and picnic tables make it a solid choice for family gatherings — there’s actually shade and somewhere to sit, which isn’t a given at a lot of parks around here. Kids gravitate toward the playground while the adults can actually relax and look out over the water. That lake access is the real draw, honestly. Pack a lunch, let the kids run, and you’ve got yourself a pretty solid afternoon without driving anywhere.
