One of the better spots in Idaho Falls for letting kids run loose, Tautphaus Park has that comfortable, well-established feel that newer parks just don’t have yet. The surrounding park is a genuine draw too — there’s a zoo nearby, open lawns, and enough going on that you can easily make a half-day of it. Locals know this place gets busy on weekends, so weekday mornings are your best bet if you want the equipment to yourselves. It’s the kind of park people grow up coming back to.
