Kelliher Park

Tucked into one of Algonquin’s quieter neighborhoods, this park punches above its weight for families with kids in the 2-12 range. The sandbox keeps the little ones busy while older kids burn energy on the basketball court or kick a ball around the soccer field — there’s genuinely enough space that different groups aren’t tripping over each other. A walking path loops the property, which is a nice touch if you’re just there to get some steps in while the kids do their thing. Restrooms and solid parking make the logistics easy, and the place is kept noticeably clean, which isn’t something you can say about every park in the area.
