Ted Spella Community Park

Locals know this one’s worth the drive even if you don’t live right around the corner. The walking path winds near the pond and edges close enough to the tree line that you actually feel like you’re in nature, not just a parking lot with grass. Kids can cool off at the water feature while parents grab a shaded seat — and honestly, the shade situation here is better than most parks in the area. The soccer field and basketball court get solid use on weekends, but it never feels overcrowded. Good one for a slow morning or an afternoon where you just want some fresh air without a lot of noise.
