Joe Glik Park

If you’re local to Edwardsville, you already know Joe Glik is the kind of park people end up spending way more time at than they planned. The walking paths loop around a couple of small ponds — one with a fountain — and honestly it’s a solid way to kill an afternoon. Kids can cool off at the water feature while the adults claim a picnic table and actually relax for once. The open grass fields are wide enough that you’re not tripping over other people’s blankets, which matters more than you’d think on a busy weekend. It’s a genuinely good spot for all ages, and the pond views don’t hurt either.
