Jill Perelman Pavilion

Part of West Park’s sprawling grounds, this spot is one of those places locals keep coming back to because it just works. The pavilion itself is clean and well-kept, with picnic tables that actually get used — not just decorative. Kids have room to roam on the open grass field while adults take a lap on the walking path or find a shady spot under the trees. Restrooms and parking make the whole visit a lot easier, which parents around Carmel will tell you matters more than it sounds.
