If you’re into nature over playground equipment, this stretch near Acadiana Park is worth knowing about. The real draw here is the trails — Acadiana Park is right there and it’s genuinely one of the better spots in Lafayette for getting outside with kids. Just know going in that it’s not set up for wheelchair access, so plan accordingly. More of a hiking-and-exploring kind of outing than a swings-and-slides situation.
