Boston City Hall Plaza Playground (Cop Slide)

The Cop Slide is basically a Boston rite of passage — that long, steep slide built right into the brutalist architecture of City Hall Plaza is unlike anything else you’ll find in the city. Kids go absolutely feral for it, and honestly, watching them figure out how to climb back up is half the entertainment. It’s smack in the middle of everything — Government Center, Faneuil Hall, the whole downtown corridor — so it fits perfectly into a day of exploring. Don’t expect a full playground setup with swings and climbing structures; this is more of a one-trick pony, but it’s a genuinely great trick.
