Playground

The pond is honestly the main attraction here — kids make a beeline for it to feed the ducks and geese, usually before they even hit the climbing structure. That said, the playground itself is legit, with solid climbing equipment on rubber surfacing that parents seem to genuinely appreciate. There are two separate play areas, so younger and older kids aren’t constantly in each other’s way. The shade trees and covered seating make it one of the more comfortable spots to actually hang out in Grand Rapids on a hot day, and the open grass field out back is great for flying kites or just running off some energy.
