Wide open grass, a solid walking path, and enough picnic table space to actually spread out — Aquila Park is the kind of place St. Louis Park locals keep coming back to without overthinking it. It’s quiet here most days, which is honestly the appeal. Families set up for the afternoon, kids run the field, and nobody’s rushing you out. Come Fourth of July, though, the whole neighborhood converges for the fireworks — it’s become a bit of a tradition and a good one at that. Bring a blanket and show up early if you want a decent spot.
