Louisiana Oaks Park

Good shade, restrooms, parking that doesn’t make you want to scream — Louisiana Oaks has the basics covered better than most parks in St. Louis Park. Kids 2 through 12 will find plenty to keep them busy: slides, swings, tunnels, a merry-go-round, and some musical equipment that’s genuinely fun rather than just decoration. The open grass field and soccer area give older kids room to run while parents actually sit down for once. That pond nearby adds a nice backdrop, and the bike track and walking path mean you can make a whole afternoon of it without running out of things to do.
