Berry Park

If you’re in Eureka and have kids in the 2-9 range, Berry Park is genuinely one of the better spots to kill an afternoon. The swings are a hit with the little ones, and the open grass field plus soccer area means older kids actually have room to run around and burn some energy. Restrooms are clean — like, reliably clean, not just “clean on a good day” — which honestly matters more than people admit. There’s shaded seating if you need a break, and the paved walking path is a nice bonus for parents who’d rather keep moving than sit. It’s accessible for everyone, well-kept, and doesn’t feel like an afterthought the way some smaller parks do.
