Jacob L. Loose Park Playground

If you’re anywhere near the Country Club Plaza area, this playground is honestly one of the better spots to bring the little ones on a warm afternoon. The water feature keeps kids occupied way longer than you’d expect, and the climbing structure gives the more adventurous ones something to actually work at. Slides and swings cover the basics for the younger crowd — we’re talking solid 2-year-old territory all the way up to around 10. The pond nearby makes for a nice backdrop, and there’s plenty of open grass if someone needs to burn off energy after the playground wears thin. It gets busy on weekends, so a weekday visit is worth it if you can swing it.
