Roanoke Park Playground

Roanoke Park is one of those spots that Kansas City locals kind of keep to themselves — and honestly, it makes sense why. The open grass field is genuinely spacious, great for kicking a ball around or just letting kids burn off energy while you walk the path and decompress. It’s wheelchair accessible, which isn’t always a given at older urban parks, so that’s worth knowing if you need it. Being right in the middle of the city, you’ve also got Q39 and KC Smoke Burger close enough to make a full afternoon out of it.
