Right off the bat, this spot checks a box that a lot of Springfield playgrounds don’t — it’s actually built with accessibility in mind. Being close to the Boys & Girls Clubs means there’s usually some kid energy around, which younger ones tend to feed off. The golf course nearby is a nice bonus if you’ve got a parent who wants to sneak in some practice while the kids do their thing. It’s an urban playground, so don’t expect a ton of shade or sprawling green space, but for a city stop it does the job well.
